The long form of the village name was invented for promotional purposes in the 1860s. With 58 characters it is the longest place name in Europe and the second longest official one-word place name in the world. Some people still claim that Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is the longest name in the world (see e.g. link http://llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-llantysiliogogogoch.info/scripts/index.php). Well, it's up to you which place has the longest name. For me 58 characters in the name seem to be in random order and the word is totally incomprehensible.
What is the last word (4 letters, starts with c) in the sign (crossed with red colour) in the cache photo? (i.e. the last word in the text that starts with 'The church of Mary...')
