This is the first part of the Inverness - Fort William (A82) cache. The road passes close to some of the most notable landmarks in the Highlands, including Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle (see the cache photo). Awesome views of the lock and a few pubs to stop off for food and a non-alcoholic beverage. There are long fast sweeping corners. The bends are well sign posted with no surprises but there are a few blind bends once running along the Loch. The road can be busy in the tourist season. The first part of the route ends in Drumnadrochit.
Enjoy your ride! Please tell in the log whether you saw the monster?
