Wolf Pen Gap Road is the western part of the Georgia State Route 180.
This road is said to have more sharp turns than any other road in Georgia. Some of the curves have 10 mph speed limits and the highest speed limits posted in curves are 25 mph. Especially first-timers should be very careful.
Route point A is at the Lake Trahlyta and Vogel State Park, one of the first state parks in Georgia. It's a great place to take a break or go swimming if you have your bathing suit and a towel with you.
I wouldn't recommend riding this route on holiday weekend such as Memorial day or labor day. Haven't tried it but some people say that it's bumper to bumper traffic.
