The B7009 is a route in the Scottish Borders following the Ettrick Water. It starts from Selkirk on Ettrick Road and climbs Howden Hill. The road then descends and undulates to Ettrickbridge where it crosses the river to the north side. The road continues up the valley and its end is the B709 at Tushielaw Inn. The B709 continues downstream along the relatively wide valley of the Ettrick Water as far as the hamlet of Ettrick itself.
The first part of the route ends at Ettrick.
Enjoy your ride in either direction!
