This section of State Route 89A is a bit different from the twisties into Jerome. There are some switchbacks but you'll be riding sweepers most of the time.
The ride between Sedona and Flagstaff is famous for the unbelievable scenery. If you ride here in October or November, there will be the fall colors in addition to the beauty of the mountains and canyons. Please, take pictures and upload at least one to the cache log!
The only drawback is that there can be a lot of traffic at some times. You should be careful and assume that car drivers don't see you at all, because they don't. They are looking at the scenery!
Don't miss the Oak Creek Vista Point. If you are riding north, it's right after the switchbacks. When riding south, look for a sign about 9 miles from point B.
Ps. Bring warm clothes if needed. For example the Oak Creek Vista is 6437 feet above sea level (source Oak Creek Vista info page).
Riding is enough, but let others know if there was anything special about the road conditions.
