This is the second part of the A44 (A3400) - Oxford to Stratford upon Avon route.
This route takes in some nice English countryside from Oxford first to Woodstock, one of England's prettiest country towns. On the outskirt of Woodstock are the famous gates of Blenheim Palace. The route continues through pretty villages of Enstone and Long Compton, and to Stratford.
Long Compton is known for its pretty thatched cottages, warm Cotswold stone walls, ancient church with an unusual lychgate, and above all for its glorious countryside.
Stratford upon Avon is a popular tourist destination owing to its status as birthplace of the playwright and poet William Shakespeare, often regarded as the world's greatest playwright of all time, receiving about 4.9 million visitors a year from all over the world.
The route has lots of fast sweeping bends.
You can ride the two parts of this route in any order. There is no need to ride both of them in one go. Enjoy your ride!
