This is the first part of the A44 Worcester to Penybont cache which takes you into Leominster. This section of the A44 road is really great with lots of bends. A few miles from Worcester the fun starts and the bends just seem to get better and better the further on you ride. Visibility through the corners can be great at times but there are also blind bends.
The A44 has some of the highest incidents of head on-collisions in the UK. The main reason is probably this 25-mile section running from Leominster and Worcester, which is packed with blind turns and is highly popular with speeding motorists. So remember to keep your eyes on the road just like the police who are constantly monitoring it.
Enjoy your ride in either direction!
