Lofoten is an archipelago in northern Norway. It is very famous of the breathtaking scenery with dramatic mountains and peaks, open artic sea and sheltered bays and also the untouched land and nature.
It has been an area with many fishermans villages but nowadays there's a road going through the area jumping from island to another over the bridges and diving in to the tunnels inside the mountains.
This last part of the Lofoten road is more narrow than the road in eastern parts. There are only few small villages on the way and finally when you reach the village of Å you can't ride any further. The road end is just on the southside of Å.
But the ending point of this route is 4km's before the village Å where you can take the ferry back to the mainland. The ferry takes about 3 hours to Bodø.
Ride and enjoy (hoefully with no rain)
