Sammallahdenmäki includes almost 40 different granite burial cairns dating back to bronze age. It is one of the most important old burial sites in Scandinavia. Kirkonlaattia ("Church Floor") and Huilun pitkä raunio ("long ruin of Huilu") are the biggest and most famous of the burial cairns of Sammallahdenmäki. Sammallahdenmäki is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The adress of the cache leads to the southern parking, where you can find an infospot (maps of the area etc.) and a toilet. Alternatively you can park at the northern parking which is located in the end of the road named Sammallahdentie.
